Covenant Agreement

The “higher order” we believe in and the way of acting in accordance with Christian principles comes from an understanding and acceptance of who God is in our lives. There is a unique contrast between one who merely professes Christianity in the marketplace, as compared to one who actually brings God’s Kingdom rule and reign into his or her business activity.

Jesus said that we should pray for His will to be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven. This requires obedience to God’s principles in the operation and decision-making process of our everyday business activities and our personal lives. Following biblical principles and God’s truth’s will release blessings when we have proven ourselves to be obedient. Our roles in business, our attitudes towards people, how we manage money, and our position in life will return “void” if God is not at the center. God’s perspective should become ours and should be the force behind our decisions each and every day.

The objective of this group is to build together, within this network, mature and dedicated Christians who will conduct their business according to principles that are set before us by our “Heavenly Father”. Further, we desire to help each other by purchasing goods and services from each other whenever possible. We shall strive to be witnesses for Him, demonstrating to others the differences between those who follow Him and those who don’t!

In summary, our group Covenant Agreement is a commitment to God. We gather together and as a group we see our roles in business as a vehicle for God’s purposes.

EDITOR’S NOTES: Integrity is a level of morality below which we should never fall, no matter what is happening around us. It is a high standard of honesty, truthfulness, decency and honor that is never fully attained, but sought after every day of our lives. A person walking in integrity has a goal to please God and do what is right. A man can be highly esteemed by men but an abomination to God, Luke 16:15. He will keep his word even if it costs something to do so. He will stand strong in what he believes. Above all he/she is a person of truth; that you can depend on his/her honesty. Someone who walks in integrity walks securely Proverbs 10:9 because his integrity guides him and brings him into the presence of God Psalm 41:12. Reputation is not something to be taken lightly. A good name is to be chosen over great riches Proverbs 22:1 and is better than “precious ointment” Ecclesiastes 7:1. It is something to value and protect. A person who does not value his reputation may someday desire credibility and may not find it.
